Dear Readers,

After the whole fiasco on ABC’s “The View” this week, my hair is on FIRE about this topic! First of all, I have huge respect for Whoopi and Joy Behar. The BUTT UGLY TRUTH of it is that they were completely unprofessional during their show with Bill O’Reilly. I mean lets revisit this for just one second. Bill O’Reilly is who he is. You can’t invite him to be a guest on your show and expect him to be what he is not. He gives the butt ugly truth and that’s why I like him! Were his immediate choice of words during a heated debate the “politically correct” words? Of course not! He’s Bill O’Reilly for goodness sake! I think that the majority of people who are following this understood what he meant when he said “The Muslims killed us on 9/11”. His wording was a bit out of line and the debate was heated. If he had the chance to think a second before he spoke, he MIGHT have reworded what he was going to say. But let’s not mince words. Afterall, words are words. Whether you say it one way or another, the meaning of it is clear. The building of a Mosque is fine, somewhere else! For Whoopi and Joy to walk off their own show in a childish attempt of rebuttal is inexcusable. I applaud Barbara Walters for keeping her cool and staying on point without throwing a girlie fit. To Whoopi and Joy, don’t get your panties in a bunch when you are supposed to be professionals! I have a few seminars I can recommend for you on conflict and confrontation.

I’ve done some reading about differing opinions on the building of this mosque. Several statistics state that 70% of Americans do not want the mosque built so close to ground zero. That should be enough. 9/11 was the most horrific attack of terrorism in the United States and will forever be fresh in our minds and hearts. These “Religious Extremists” – as they are calling them – are using their religion as a way to recruit other terrorists to commit these crimes against Americans.  That is “the way we are SUPPOSED to say it”.  But the butt ugly truth of it all is that these MUSLIM EXTREMISTS have infiltrated our American society in large sects! We cannot continue to ignore the fact that they are still here, in their muslim extremist secrecy, waiting and continuing to plan more attacks in the name a Ala. Because the secrecy has been so delicately laced throughout our communities, how on earth are we supposed to trust that this mosque isn’t a secret declaration of victory? If Muslims are supposed to be peaceful, then they should be empathetic towards how the majority of AMERICANS (not a specific faith-based group) feel about this! Doesn’t peace teach us to see the other side of things? Doesn’t peace teach us that compromise is part of the process? I don’t remember reading anything that says “Americans don’t want Muslims to build mosques anywhere.” I have, however, read that the majority of Americans have requested that Muslims move their building to another place!

I recently read a piece written by a student journalist, Luke Ball, (i am totally NOT a link master! But – there it is!) Part of it reads “Historically, however, the message of mosque building may not be so peaceful. When muslims conquer a city or win a major battle, they construct a mosque.” I had not researched the Muslim religion before, so this was news to me. Those words really worried me! So I googled the question “When do muslims build mosques” gave this as an explanation: “The Koran (018:021) states: ‘Build a building over them, their Lord knows best about them;’ and those who prevailed in their affair said, ‘We will surely make a mosque over them.’

This is not a direct commandment to build on a place of victory, but there is a tradition of building mosques to celebrate or symbolize victory.

“The al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is built on top of one of the holiest sites in Judaism, the Temple Mount. The former St. Sophia’s Basilica, once the world’s largest cathedral and orthodox patriarchal basilica, was torn down and replaced with the principal mosque of Istanbul. The Cordoba mosque in Spain was a former Christian cathedral. Muslims have engaged in this practice for centuries, symbolizing their victories over the infidels.”

This is enough for me and it should be enough for other AMERICANS too! Including our muslim americans! 9/11 should have a memorial that celebrates the victims lives and a tribute to the bravery of countless rescue workers, survivors, & their families. It should serve New Yorker’s and all of the AMERICANS as a resting place…..a place for reflection…..a place for comfort for those still lost spiritually among the rubble. There should NOT be a mosque looming thirteen stories over a place where muslim extremists killed Americans! MOVE …..THE …..MOSQUE!!!!!

Here are FIFTY ONE other reasons to MOVE THE MOSQUE you may want to ponder (from

  1. Unfortunately took many pussy politicians get involved in shit like this and basically make decisions that go against the thoughts of the American people. Now that I read the part where muslims build a mosque on a spot that they “conquered”, I am no not ashamed to say that the mosque be destroyed by the citizens of this country. Maybe that way the politicians will grow out of their baby diapers and “man up” and tell these bastards…. No, we don’t want it here.

The land of tolerance is no longer here. In the past 20 years, we have suffered enough from shitty politicians, financial costs of wars, illegal immigration, joblessness and ecological disasters that I truly think we really have to say enough is enough. Recently, the people of 2 countries have created uprisings against their lousy governments. As much as I hate to follow the actions of those people, maybe that’s what our government needs so they can realize that they lost all credibility with the people they are governing.

I remember someone wrote: “A government FOR the people, BY the people…” I don’t remember any part that mentions kickbacks, dirty deals, squeezing the people of every cent they have while watching every fucking move they do in the name of homeland security.

No, I am not anti-government, but I am pissed off at our current government and the last good administration we had, where the middle class citizen not only had money to pay their bills but had money to spare for great vacations or simply impulse shopping, ended in 1988 when Reagan’s last term was over. You can say what you want about Reagan but the American people were happier with their lives when he was president more than anyone is now or have been in last 20 years.
